Don't blame me, it was the AI
Huzzah! The news of AI content creation has spread far and wide across social media as many of our friends have begun sharing and exploring the state-of-the-art-AI-APP-filter Lensa!
I spent most of yesterday evening and this morning scrolling through endless posts and photos created by the all-mighty Lensa from my friends' selfies!
Why... one of my dear friends is now an intergalactic warrior and another one of my friends has finally shown the world what they look like as a tiny kitten with a yarn ball. What a time to be alive.
trouble in paradise (boooooo!)
Even though this dreamlike app has warmed the hearts of millions of Americans, some content "artists" are using their celebration as an opportunity to bring up THEIR PROBLEMS.
here's what I say to all ye ol' content creators using a brush and pen to create art: YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED.
And you should be grateful for it. Our work just got a whole lot easier.
Our New overlords
unlike you, I am taking the time to ask "who A.I.s the A.I.", and my discovery is bone-shockingly concerning!
People of the world, look no further than these four individuals who plan to create an oligarchy of content creation. We only submit our ideas to them and they will manifest the creation to their deepest desires. I have no worries about the long-term impact of computers generating our images... It sounds like a healthy way to nurture our own creativity and is inlined with the American Dream of hard work paying off.
Send your client to the overlords!
No longer is it necessary for me to go through reams of emails, phone calls, and listening sessions with clients... instead, I can have them write out their needs and submit them to the AI overlords.
And boy... is the AI going to have a fun time trying to understand them.
Fellow artists, we have our fall guy.
Blame the A.I., before it's too late.
Let's adapt...?
Worried? good... But you're not alone.
This is exactly how painters felt upon the invention of photography. No longer did anyone want painted landscapes and portraits, instead they wanted the same thing... but on film stock. That will show 'em!
So what did the artist do? Well, they invented abstract and impressionist paintings, they did something that a simple photograph could not! They looked deep into their hearts and soul and came up with what artheads call masterpieces.
Art will always evolve and change. These changes have made art accessible and easy to use. These are all good things.
however, we must not forget the one thing we have that A.I. does not: Our soul.
A.I. is going to get wild over the next decade and content creators are going to have to adapt. We must use our new tools for help, but know that it is our soul that ultimately creates our art.
